Dr. Rasool Kenarangui

The expertise of Dr. Kenarangui is in Power System Analysis, Power System Operation, Power System Reliability Analysis, Power Plants and Energy Management System, and Fuzzy Set Theory. The professional experience of Dr. Kenarangui includes: Faculty Research Associate at the Energy System Research Center, at the University of Texas at Arlington, TX, USA; Visiting professor at the Electrical Engineering Department, of the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; Professor at The Electrical Engineering Department, Tabriz, Iran; Consultant at Science Application, Inc., Ames, Iowa, USA; Teaching Assistant, Iowa State University, USA. He was also: Chairman of International Conference on Fuzzy Set Theory and it's application, at Tabriz, Iran; Member of Research Committee at the Azerbaijan Distribution Province, in Iran; and Member of Board of the Directors at the Heavy Industry Research Center, in Tabriz, Iran. Dr. Kenarangui has hands on experience in application software; such as PSPICE, MATHCAD, MATLAB; and has extensively used Basic, FORTRAN, C, C++, and VISUAL C. He also developed Software Packages including: Fuzzy Decision Analysis, Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis and State Estimation. Dr. Kenarangui holds a Ph.D., MS and BS in Electrical Engineering, Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. He has a Professional Engineering License at the State of Texas. He is a Member of IEEE since, 1976 and official referee of IEEE Trans. on Reliability.

His Publications include over 35 International Journal and Conference papers and reports in different languages; including Publications on different research projects on the power system operation, analysis reliability analysis, and application of fuzzy set theory on power system analysis.
